Yet in the wake of these negative trends, social movements are rising to challenge the unjust status quo. Critical, practice-based analysis is essential for our movements to grow and develop.

Mutual aid is vital to caring for and rebuilding our communities amidst crisis. Science is critical to establishing a material basis for a better future. Solidarity is the social foundation of all historical progress.
